SINGAPORE – One Sng Chia Huat, who goes by Rich Sng on Facebook, put up two posts on the social media site falsely accusing two ministers of being aware that Fujian gang member Su Haijin had broken laws but condoned it.

He also falsely accused Health Minister Ong Ye Kung and Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat of dishonestly pretending not to know Su, being involved in or susceptible to corruption or bribery, and being part of a system that protects criminals like Su.

Both ministers, in a joint statement on May 12, said they have sent Mr Sng letters from their lawyers, and will be suing him for defamation if he does not make the reparations they have requested.

The statement added that the allegations made by Mr Sng in his posts are baseless and false.

An earlier joint statement on May 6 had detailed how both ministers do not know Su personally, and did not have any contact with him before or after they had dinner with him.

Singapore tycoon Sam Goi said he hosted the private dinners where Su was present, along with several Cabinet ministers and businessmen, The Straits Times reported on May 9. Mr Goi added that the dinner with Mr Chee was held on Nov 19, 2020, and the dinner with Mr Ong was held on May 10, 2022.

Photos of the dinners – social networking events – were posted on Instagram on May 4 and May 5 by former Reform Party chairman Charles Yeo.

I had already stated many times and will state again so that sinkies can be more vigilant about what they say that can fall into defamation or truth without having to face any lawsuit.

I said, they, as ministers can let off their guard and so poor with judgement that they doesn't know about Su and can have dinner with him as a stranger.
This action alone already can tell how poor judgement they have. And with this kind of poor judgement, I would like to ask them.

DO you think you are fit to be a minister?

In a democracy, all Humans are innocent till PROVEN guilty.
Noone should be accusing them on baseless attempt.

However I will ask them right on their face - do they think they are fit to be a minister with their poor judgement of characters.
Be leeminded that they are ministers, leaders of a cuntry.
When they can give such a silly excuse of not knowing him and attending dinner and taking photographs with them, are they stupid or what?

They nave to answer me this basic challenge question about their capability and analysis skill.

Since I cannot ask them directly and you are fronting them all the time.
I shall ask you instead.

Question 1. Do you think they are fit to be minister giving these kind of leesponse to the media?

Question 2. Are they stupid? Or do they have poor judgement? It can only be either 1 of it. Stupid or with poor character judgement, which one is it?

y dat kayu burger never join 4ses wif dese 2? ... but instead send separately on his own? ...

The Su Haijin Photos are a Global Ad Campaign.
(Read to the end to know how this incident actually helps them attract the ultra rich)

Su Haijin wasn’t hiding.

He was living in a luxury Bukit Timah bungalow,
with 13 properties, 21 bank accounts, and $174 million in assets.
All while being wanted in China for illegal online gambling.

He set up a fake company in Singapore — no business, just a front.
Moved millions through it like nothing.
And nobody asked questions.
Because in Singapore, if you have money, you don’t get questions — you get red carpets.

He only got caught because the billion-dollar money laundering case exploded in the news.
And when the police came, he tried to run — jumped off his balcony and landed in a drain.

What did he get?

14 months in jail.
But with good behaviour and weekend cuts, he’ll serve just 9 months.

Then he’s gone.
Not to China to face real justice.
Nope.
He gets deported to Cambodia.
A soft landing. Quiet. Clean. No questions asked.

This isn’t a failure.
This is how the system works.

Because Singapore now has two financial systems:

One for the ultra-rich — with privileges, protection, and silence.
And one for the rest of us — with fines, taxes, and no room for mistakes.

Don’t forget Credit Suisse.
They helped Americans hide US$4 billion —
US$2 billion of it through Singapore.

Did we catch it?
No.
The U.S. did.

Because when rich people move dirty money here,
our system holds the door open and smiles.

And while you queue to top up your CPF,
over 2,000 Single Family Offices have been set up in Singapore —
quiet, private structures for billionaires to store wealth, tax-free.

Some even tied to people close to power.

And now Bill Gates is setting up the Asia HQ of his foundation here.
Why?

Because he knows what the rich already know:
Singapore is the safest place to park your billions.

And now, the photo.

Su Haijin at dinner.
Sitting next to ministers.
Looking relaxed. Like nothing was wrong.

When it leaked?
They said nothing.
Pretended not to know him.

But let’s be honest — they knew.
They just know we’re not in the class that gets told the truth.

That photo wasn’t a scandal.
It was a global advertisement.

A signal to every billionaire watching:

“Come to Singapore.
Even if you break the law,
even if you get caught red-handed,
we’ll say we don’t know you.
We’ll protect you.
We’ll love you.
Forever.”

Singapore:
Clean on the surface,
soft for the wealthy,
strict only if you’re broke.

You voted for this.

And now, we all live with it.

Two systems. One truth.

If you’re not rich, this ad campaign is not for you.
You’re just peasants in the way.

Straight talk. No sugar.
Not facts. Just theory.

According to mdm Hc fb posts, Su has already served his sentence and should be forgiven de woh. And to let him turn over a new leaf.

Who can't turn over a new leaf with billions of $?

I had already stated many times and will state again so that sinkies can be more vigilant about what they say that can fall into defamation or truth without having to face any lawsuit.

Based upon your logic, then let us delve into the case of Pritam Singh. the leader of the Workers Party gang.

He was CONVICTED on counts of lying under OATH to Parliamentary committee on 18th Feb 2025, a KNOWN CRIMINAL & LEADER of his gang under our Rule of Law Nation .

Yet even phenomenally, when his GRC team won NO majority votes in the recent election, he was assured of being the OPPOSITION LEADER with only a mere 10 seats in a 97 seated Parliament, with far more perks & privileges than those other legislators whom had worked so hard for years....

At least, our Elected legislators & appointed Ministers made sure to meet everyone whom needs help & had or can contribute to the progress & evolution of our Nation, at times even felons during MEET THE PEOPLE sessions, out of COMPASSION & giving everyone a second chance to contribute to our Nation, to at the least listen, which is NOT a crime.

Furthermore, the convicted scammer Su Haijin, whom served 14mths in Singapore jail, had been deported after his crime to Singaporeans in Changi Prison served, & most probably grabbed by CCP agents in that country & now living under hard labor in a China province prison, as the China CCP govt deemed him a person of interest, to help them in their huge fight against corruption in China, as he would have links to those in power, whom had SCAMMED far more China citizens than elsewhere in the World, if his criminal masters had not got hold of him first. Under Criminal org laws - dead men tell no tales...

At least Su Haijin was still presumed innocent before his arrest, among MANY hundred thousands of Singapore inhabitants that ministers & biz leaders have to meet daily in the course of their duties & responsibilities, even often after normal office hours that ony other inhabitants get to enjoy.

YET, the CONVICTED CRIMINAL Pritam Singh walks freely in our Parliament, & even incredulously retained his seat as OPPOSITION LEADER, along with ten members of his Workers Party gang, let alone supporters & his mere voters whom would support a KNOWN convict ?

To tell MORE lies to constituents & Singaporeans & the Ruling Party looks away?

My sincere & humble apologies to Mr. Pritam Singh, as well as to the hardworking supporters, his GRC team & voters, even though what I wrote about his conviction is true. Everyone deserves another chance, & may he use it honestly & well to serve our Nation better, limited as his capacity would be.

I only wrote this reply out of concern for the DOUBLE Standards, sadly displayed here by some - While a non-issue or a non Court chargeable issue made by the Ruling Party is played sky high, yet when it comes to the opposition parties whom had been PROVEN of criminal conviction, are ignored....

Perhaps they are locals, or worse, may be foreigners out to destabilized our Nation....

You cannot compare Su with pritam. They are 2 totally different matters.

Look at a commoner transvestite also have the brain to think.
You cannot have 3x dinner with a money launderer and said you don't know him.
This is impossible. Highlighting - Somemore they are ministers.
Unless you are someone without a brain of judgement.
I'm questioning you about their capability of being a minister if they can be so naive and innocent not to smell anything fishy about some strangers with such a unknown wealth.
Are they fit to be ministers?
Kindly leeply this - are they fit to be ministers?

The PAP ministers have "home ground" advantage and no judge in SG will dare to rule against them. Everyone knows what happened to Michael Khoo who was a senior district judge in JB Jeyaretnam's 1986 trial. He found JBJ clear of all charges except one. The PAP was angry enough to immediately force the AGC to have a retrial and JBJ was sentenced to jail. Michael Khoo was transferred to the AGC immediately after this trial. So much for an "honest" govt!

I don't find what Mr Sng posted on his facebook to be defamatory. He is just raising his doubts based on the prevalent info circulating online. And NCM actually met Su Haijin twice, so can't be a strange as claimed.

Show me first JUST a mortal who can read minds & tell at FIRST glance the other is a crook & you will have my answer.
Of course we cannot read mind immediately.
But with abit of time, this is 100% possible.
If I meet Su, a stranger, and with a unknown wealth at this age, I would definitely have some reservations about him. And they had dinner not just once.
Highlight again - Somemore they are ministers.
And I'm not even any gov officials.
If I cannot smell this person fishy, I will chop my lj in the padang.

P. S why I dare to boldly vow to chop my lj if I cannot sense it ?
Becos I had dinner and drinks with some "strangers" many years back with the invitation of some friends and this stranger was a friend of this friend of mine . I smelt a Verlee strong smell of this stranger having dark background. And not long after that my suspicion was proven in the Chinese newspaper. He was arrested and jailed for setting fire on someone. I could swear to a violent death if this wasn't true.

Again, let me ask you, are they fit to be a minster having this kind of poor judgement?

A guilty conscience is causing OYK and Chee Hong to threaten to sue because they are aware that no judge in SG dares to rule against a PAP politician. Bloomberg maintained its position about Tan See Leng and Shanmugam: “Bloomberg respectfully disagrees with it and reserves its right to appeal and challenge the Correction Direction. We stand by our reporting.” Both Ministers are sent a clear message that they cannot silence any party that reports news that our politicians do not like.

Sng was cosplaying as Su Haijin and reiterated many times him don't believe they don't know Su. He was implying they could be corrupted but he never used the word. A bit gray, they need strong evidence to sue. I don't know whether an online persona can be sued. Rich Sng is not a real name.

Will a Civil servant accept free expensive meal, drink red wine & take photo with their vendors ?
The Civil servant probably will not accept the invitation, but things are different in the top level, Minister level.
If the Minister wishes to network, should be conduct in a public event, with all the relevant industry members
Why only few selected individuals in a private dinner ? Sam Goi hosted the dinner, why did he invite Su & intro to these Ministers ?
What motives Sam Goi is hatching ? Dont the Ministers know these Billionaires have shady past, eg: latest being Ong Beng Seng in Iswaran's case.
These "friends" are questionable & the Public wish CPIB investigate & give our Ministers clean slate of trust, reasonable.

How come a man convicted under the OSA can become a minister and later the president of singapore ???

Questions :

1. If they claim not to know Su Haijin personally, what steps did they or their offices take to vet the guest list before attending these private dinners, especially given their positions as ministers?

2. How do they explain Su Haijin “happening to be there” at multiple, invitation-only gatherings-do they consider this a coincidence, and what does this suggest about the exclusivity or nature of these events?

3.they state that ministers meet a diverse range of people as part of their duties. How do they differentiate between large public events and small, private dinners in terms of accountability and transparency?

4. Why were the details of the dinners, including the identities of the hosts and other guests, not disclosed in your statements, given public interest and the potential for reputational risk?

5. Do they believe that simply denying personal knowledge of Su Haijin is sufficient to address public concerns about association and judgment, especially after his conviction for money laundering?

6. How do they ensure that participation in private social gatherings does not inadvertently confer legitimacy or access to individuals later found to be involved in criminal activity?

7. Given the repeated presence of Su Haijin at such events, what will they do differently in the future to prevent similar situations and uphold the high standards of integrity you referenced in their statements?
