OMG... Steven Chia is gonna eat fried chicken everyday for 2 weeks...

actually this hormone problem I think is even worse with beef. If you notice in the US, now the girls no longer have hips!! They also have big hooters at a very young age.
I think it is important to look at things in perspective. Big hooters is a good thing. Very good thing.:biggrin:

Actually I heard that the opposite is true.... Safer to consume bigger animals like cow, pigs and sheep because less growth hormones are used compared to poultry. The chickens we eat are all roided up teenagers .. farmers need to turn quick profit

all soy grown gmo? Not all lah... A good % of commercial "invisible" soy used in food processing I would say yes. But there's also a strong demand for non-gmo soy.

Blatantly "soy" products like tofu and soy milk will be boycotted by a significant % of the consumers in countries where they grow soybeans if they are GMO derived.
I understand in the EU, Australia/NZ and US there is very strict market scrutiny on GMO grains. Products are clearly labelled on shelves so that consumers are aware what their eating. GMO grains and products in western countries are mainly exported.

The market in Asia is not so sophisticated for obvious cost reasons.. and sinkapore imports all our food. Therefore i will continue to regard all soy/corn products with suspicion and concern

I'm surprised Sinkieland doesn't have GMO labels on food products.

vegans would say you are pitching for the meat industry. and vice versa if you adopt the other stance.

phytoestrogens have both estrogenic and anti-estrogenic effects.

anyway Mr Bean claims to use non GMO beans. where is the evidence that ALL soy beans are GMO? you sound highly alarmist.
Good to know Mr Bean uses non GMO. Can you trust the cheaper options they sell at the wet market?

We are responsible for what we put in to our bodies. I have always been skeptical and would rather err on the side of caution. But if you choose to believe in food and dtug corporations than enjoy your new boobies

GMO free products toot their horns quite obviously on the packaging. Regard all others as non GMO, especially if they are cheap.

actually I just remembered something. chicken in sinkieland always made me sick. only in sinkieland. I never did bother to find out exactly why, but you may have a point. Overseas, I go back to eating chicken but then overseas gives me the option to choose pastured chicken without "medicine" which is my default choice.

Who is Steven Chia?

I was advised to stop drinking soya bean (my favourite drink) because it will make me grow breasts. Now fried chicken (my favourite food) also? Covid, please take me!
I prefer kampung chiecken. Those fat chickens are usually fed with soy product and will make you grow breast. Then you will need to wear A cup bra.
