Oldest to start NS?

What is the oldest you have seen someone start NS? Either volunteer to get PR/citizenship or because kenah caught after defaulting.

I've got a friend who was enlisted at the age of 27. 2 weeks into his BMT, he fractured his left foot badly and was thrown out of course. After that, he was posted to some Arti unit to become an orderly clerk til he ORDed.
