US President Obama not giving a speech at APEC CEO Summit

SINGAPORE: US President Barack Obama will not be speaking at the APEC CEO Summit. His speech was originally scheduled for Saturday in Singapore.

An updated programme of the CEO Summit was released on Thursday and his speech slot has now been taken over by US trade representative, Ron Kirk.

He will speak on the subject, "The United States and APEC Partners in Global Trade Today".
