EVEN loan shark syndicates see the advantage of recruiting foreign workers.
These illegal moneylenders, having a tougher time recruiting Singaporeans to be their runners since stiffer penalties kicked in this year, are now getting foreigners to do the job of intimidating debtors to pay up.
