I have attended the NUS Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis Preview Talk held in SG.
    http://www.iss.nus.edu.sg/GraduateP...ar/RegisterEvent/tabid/263/id/17/Default.aspx
i told the professor i’m interested in the course but i only have graduate diploma in logistics, specialist diploma in retail from NYP plus IT cert from A*Star. I was rejected immediately on the spot. The professor said i must have a degree regardless what kind of degree it is. Well, no degree no talk.
From the namelist, about 15-20 persons register but only 5-6 persons turned up. I think i could be the only Sporean at the preview talk. The other Chinese guy looks like he is from PRC. The rest who turned up are Burmese.
The ISS staff also mentioned about their plan of starting a part-time NUS Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis in the future. I think they also want to generate more income.
Whether will one get employment after graduation or not is also questionable, if there are already so many jobless IT PMET in SG. i had a friend who graduated from this NUS Graduate Diploma in Systems Analysis course years, he also had a hard time searching for IT jobs. He advised me to consider twice before signing up for it but he also knew that ISS would rejected my application as i’m not degree holder despite i have a graduate diploma.
i always though it’s consider something good if a Sporean can study in NUS/NTU. For me, i think that’s a impossible dream. Well, no degree no talk.

    Correction -
The rest who turned up should be Burmese, Filipino etc based on their appearances & accent.

Brother MKPa,NUS,being a tool of PAP,is trying its best to make up for PAP which lost Burma,as Ms Aung san Su Kyi is NO friend of PAP but Dr Chee,SDP,PAP had been long time loyalist of Drug Lords.

These are the kind of fundamental activities necessary for this island to maintain her status as a nation.
