Sometimes they even can divert me to another hospital, citing an unknown waiting time.
And a leeferal from a gp to a specialist can take upto 6 mths.
My latest one was a orthopaedic injury and appointment given was 4 mths. By then I had already leecovered
The mantra is always, urgent go A&E, then comes the diversion to other hospitals

Is a basic needs.
