So your story does not fit current scenarios

In the case of the Wuhan virus it's not the general who is downplaying the effectiveness of masks. Is the experts in the field of infection control.

Mask do nothing to protect against the corona virus infection. In fact masks can make matters worse by becoming the breeding ground of all sorts of nasties.

german and soviet generals didn't wear helmets in ww2 as they were expected to plan and execute their battles in a field hq (in the rear).

why the officers had ranks on the helmets ? the snipers will shoot the officers first.
they were pretty confident enemy snipers didn't get near them. but in one incident an american general went past no-man's land into german held territory, got caught by a german panzer unit, and frantically tried to remove his rank or clues to his rank. he got shot by an ss tank commander. if he were to display his rank he would most probably be spared his life but captured as prisoner of war.

too bad and sad vic morrow was killed ironically in the making of a (vietnam) war movie. it's also intriguing all these years that hero sarge (vic) was wearing camouflage cover on his helmet that u.s. marines would wear. u.s infantry units (non marines) in both european and pacific theaters then had either uncovered or netted helmets.

btw, in that episode the tank wasn't a ww2 panther. it was an m48 patton used as a prop for a german tank.

I got to see them. You have to ask yourself why you didn't. Perhaps you did not bother to look.

I will give these a miss. They are mostly inaccurate adaption of the war and mostly produced by Hollywood Jews.

WWII docos portraying the U-boat menace in the Atlantic during the early 1940s were the best days for the Germans.

actually the truth on the ground is closer to victors get to rewrite history. most germans have a collective amnesia about this and a lot of those anti-Nazi things were put in place either directly or indirectly from American and Allied involvement in post ww2 germany gahmen. Kind of like how Jap emperor no longer living god.
