having car, true can travel everyday in aircon comfort and without smelly anyone's armpit.
BUT,
you face jams everyday,
you are scared your car will kiss another car
Even with aircon on, you are not stressed cos need to drive through jam everyday which really ups your pressure and makes you stressed and pissed when you get to your office or home.

Having car can go supper/jalan jalan anytime and anywhere
BUT
cannot drink, so supper no fun
parking is difficult, and if you park illegally, you cannot relax because fatima will come and give you ticket
everytime you jalan, you are worried about petrol consumption, so jalan jalan also cannot suka suka
You become everybodies ahmad, especially if you are the nice type, its not a big deal since spore is not big, but sometimes, pp can really take advantage of you and it doesnt feel good.

Having car, can drive up anytime, go JB pump petrol, shop, go KL have massage and fool around (hehehe), go cameron, etc
BUT
you are worried about security and corruption, especially the security part for your flash ride which you sayang more than your mistress (pls ignore if you drive a beat up jalopey)

So is car still worth it in spore?
Yes, if the drawbacks above are not a major issue for you.

So think properly, I know guys who earn 20k+ per mth also careful with their car usage.

You are off point and getting mix-up between a personal choice and a government initiative shafted down your throat.

Whilst the government is controlling the overpopulation of cars, they are encouraging the overpopulation of citizens.

Therein lies the difference.
