Felon-elect

It appears Donald Trump has succeeded in delaying sentencing for his 34 felony convictions indefinitely.

Just a Chill Oligarch

The endless squabbling of Democrats and Republicans distracts from a harsh reality: the oligarchs sleep soundly, owning everything while the rest of us scramble for crumbs. They’ve pillaged the country for profit, leaving the planet and its people in ruin. Yet, whenever the system fails, they blame someone else—immigrants, welfare recipients, queer people—anyone but themselves.

But here’s the truth: you’re not at war with the immigrant, the homeless, or the persecuted. You’re at war with the billionaires rigging the system. America’s divide isn’t left vs. right; it’s top vs. bottom, democracy vs. oligarchy. The rich stay rich by keeping us divided, feeding us lies to fight one another while they hoard power.

Real change comes when we see through the scam. When the people at the bottom—workers, the homeless, the marginalized—stand together, the oligarchs lose. The time has come to reject their narrative. Workers of the world, unite! You have nothing to lose but your chains. Their empire will collapse, as all do. The question is: will it crush us, or will we tear it down and build something better?

Cartoon showing a small wooden, leaking boat, aside a luxury yacht. In the small boat stand two children, trying to catch a bucket labeled 'COP29' that is being thrown off the yacht, which they can use to try and empty water out of the boat. In the background we see an island that has been drowned by rising sea levels.

Too little, too late

Richer countries have promised to raise their funding to help poorer countries fight climate change to a record $300bn (£238bn) a year, but the developing world is saying this is 'too little, too late'.
