手機充電最好別講電話！印度奧里薩邦（Odisha）一名18歲少女奧拉姆（Uma Oram）發現手機沒電，於是一邊充電一邊打電話給親戚聊天，才聊沒多久手機立刻爆炸，最後奧拉姆送醫不治，她的Nokia手機也被炸毀半邊。

奧拉姆上週五（16日）吃完午餐，想打電話給親戚聊天，眼見手機快沒電了，決定一邊充電一邊撥打電話，聊沒多久屋內突然傳出爆炸巨響，她的Nokia手機爆炸，奧拉姆遭受瞬間強烈衝擊陷入昏迷，手部、胸部與腿部全部嚴重燒傷，家人緊集將她送醫急救。

遺憾的是，最後醫師宣布奧拉姆不治，而爆炸的紅色Nokia手機已被警方列為證物調查。印度媒體研判，這支爆炸手機是2010年上市的Nokia 5233，目前Nokia官方尚未對此作出回應，詳細爆炸原因仍待警方釐清。

A TEENAGE girl was killed when her ageing Nokia phone exploded as she chatted on it, according to reports.

Uma Oram is said to have been talking on the phone while it was still charging in her village home.

The teen was on her mobile to a family member when it exploded
Her brother said she had wanted to talk to a family member but found the phone was flat.

She reportedly plugged it in and was chatting to the relative when the handset exploded.

Uma reportedly received injuries to her hand, chest and leg and was knocked unconscious.

The 18-year-old was taken to hospital from her home in Kheriakani, in the eastern Indian state of Odisha.

Her brother Durga Prasad Oram said: "As the battery of the mobile phone was draining out. She plugged it for charging while talking over it simultaneously.

"The cell phone... was put on charging when she started talking to a relative.

"Its battery exploded suddenly. Before we could know what exactly happened, Uma fell unconscious. She was declared dead at the hospital."

He told local media that the phone was a Nokia 3110 but some media sources said it was a Nokia 5233 smartphone.

Pictures of the incident show a damaged phone that looks like the 5233.

That handset was released in 2010 and Nokia's cheapest touchscreen smartphone at the time.

A teenager has died after her phone exploded as she was talking to a relative.

Photographs of a badly damaged phone show the aftermath of the blast that killed Uma Oram at her home in Kheriakani, India.

The 18-year-old’s phone is said to have suddenly exploded as she plugged it in to charge during the conversation.

Uma, who was knocked unconscious and suffered injuries to her hand, leg and chest, was taken to a local hospital, where she died.

He told reporters in India that the phone was a Nokia 3310 – though it appears to instead bear a resemblance to a Nokia 5233.

However, the manuacturer said the phone in question was not one of their devices.

A spokesperson for Nokia said: ‘While we have not been able to independently verify the facts of any of these reports, we can confirm that the mobile phone in question was not manufactured or sold by HMD Global, the new home of Nokia phones, set up in 2017 to create a new range of Nokia devices.

‘As HMD Global, we are committed to producing high quality handsets which deliver a strong user experience and meet high customer expectations.’

Police have visited the home to gather evidence, and Uma’s body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

Bhubaneswar: A teenage girl of Kheriakani village under Laikera police limits in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district died after her Nokia cellphone exploded while she was talking, reports said on Saturday. The 19-year-old Uma Oram was speaking to someone over phone with the device put on charging when it exploded.

The intensity of the blast was so high that the girl suffered burn injuries on chest, left hand and right leg, killing her on the spot.

“My sister was on Friday speaking to a relative over phone while it was put on charging. Suddenly it exploded in her hand. We called up a 108 ambulance and rushed her to hospital,” Durga Oram, brother of the deceased said.

“Family members heard a loud sound from a nearby transformer. There could be some electrical malfunction leading to excess current flow which caused the blast. The girl died on the spot due to shock,” the police said.
