From the previous GE they declared that "NO ONE WILL BE LEFT BEHIND !"

They validated it again at the recent May 2011 GE.

The President emphasized it in Parliament.

Every Parliamentarians seems to agree and fighting for it.

The PM concurred following it again .........

Then why the bloody patronizing broadcasts of those down and out in the news asking
people to donate or adopt such families to help them make ends meet ?

Where is the whole government machinery of aids and assistances ?

In the latest morning news, it highlighted an Indian one legged taxi driver and was told his
wife work as a cleaner feeding a family of 3 school going children.

Believe, MCYS would not approved any assistance if basing on their dual incomes !

What am trying to said is - if the government found such genuine cases kindly assist all you
can and not parade them out like some circus side shows or worse to make them look as if
they are begging .... the dignity of it all !

The Government expect help to come from 1st their immediate family, then their friends then
the NGO welfares, then the Public and lastly if criteria are met then they will dished out that
PA allowance of say $340 or so ?

Get real and mean it without degrading your citizens.

Yeah I remember the GE 2006 battle cry that NO one will be left behind........... I now realise that Mai Him was clearly referring to the top 1% of the population starting with the elites incl Wee Siew Kim's daughter who wanted to kick balls (taste better if sucked...).

I hv a fren..........doing own biz. Done well. Quit biz bcoz of ever changing technology.
Luckily hv own vehicle. Did pirate taxi. Ferry mostly foreigners. Sailors, pimps, pros,
escort, FW, thieves, dogs, VIPs too sometimes. Very enterprising.
N honest too. Charge same as taxi. Pick up those that taxi dont want to.

When he apply at same industry, he got turned away coz he popular n he boss before.
So wat is left for people like him. change industry?? Like start all over again.
So wat is left for him??? Only taxi and security n cleaning jobs. Imagine the people
like who dont own a vehicle. Wat can they do???
So these people are being LEFT OUT in society, not left behind.

You need the required qualifications before help is given and it's not easy to qualify with PAP Standard.[
It will be easier to steal and rob. Instant food and lodging provided with securities thrown in 24/7 if unsucessful.
