The problem now is there's no credible successor to PSP after Dr Tan.
Dr Tan was able to band together a group of very good war horses but no general among them. Let's see what develops in the next 5 years but I think PSP will fade into oblivion.

Perhaps he could learn something new with skills future credits and find himself a new job.
He can use Skills Future credit and upskill himself to be a security guard. That's one job possibility. Cleaner and dish washer jobs too lowly for him.

t was terrible for the PAP that the call for “repentance” leading to the loss of Aljunied GRC in 2011 was largely forgotten after the LKY Effect in 2015.
It is a mystery to me why the PAP doesn’t seem to have figured out that a heavy-handed and bullying form of politics does not work with the modern electorate.
The Constitutional amendment for the Presidential Elections was v ugly. It boggles my mind why the PAP would want to burn precious political capital. If TCB was allowed to become President (he is more or less a harmless old man. People think he wouldn’t agree to allow Government to tap reserves for COVID meh?), the PAP also wouldn’t have had to contend with PSP and almost risk losing West Coast GRC. Even if we can be persuaded to make sure we have a Malay President, the timing was awkward. Given how old TCB is, we could have let him have a go first? And put in the Malay President, say next year? Last I checked, the PAP is still in power.
