Dear Oppo leaders,

No point attacking the high ministerial salaries and keep talking about Minimum wage !

Majority voters don’t know how much sinkapore president and ministers and secretaries are paid per month !

You oppo must do some homework and show real facts to the voters on how the present high- office people are paid !

Don’t attack PAP on their wage scale, talk to the voters and ask them to decide !

Give example like Israel president (war zone area), yet paid less than 10k per month !

You Oppo parties must study the fact about workers’ salaries then(20 yrs ago) and now----what are the real changes amidst the good economy !

Please ask the voters whether sinkaporeans can peg their salaries to the FT workers !

You oppo not wanting to engage the voters on this issue will do sinkapore and the voters a disservice !

Be honest with the voters, be straight about wages in the first -world country !

You oppo must make voters responsible for the pay system sinkapore and sinkaporeans are facing !

Next GE may be your last chance to talk about wage system !

Don’t attack PAP, just ask the voters whether the system is fair or not ! The voters have to decide !

If you can, Propose a wage system that is relevant to sinkaporeans and first world cuntry !

You may find this wage thingy a tough nut to crack becos sinkapore wage system is oredi damaged badly due to unbridled FT policy !

Sinkaporeans are trapped between first world and third world !

Allow me to highlight to you that, opposition leader/leaders is/are not having a voice if the voters do not render them support and we cannot expect them [opposition leaders] to voice or fight on our behalf without 1st having voters support. Seasons greetings.

The most effective way for opposition members to tell voters is I will limit my MP salaries at $5k and will donate the rest of the $12k to the poor to my help the poor.

I kind of agree with your proposition.

The Oppositions should tell voters, especially those living in GRCs that if Oppositions are voted into Parliament they would set up a "MP Excess Funds" to help the poor and needy.

Every Opposition MP will peg his or her own salary at $3,000 and the excess of $10,000 will be pooled into this MP Excess Funds. It's a part-time job after all, and $3,000 is respectable enough for a part-time MP.

So imagine a GRC with 5 MPs, the contribution per month will be $50,000. It's not a lot of money, but it shows you're different from PAP MPs. So when you criticize the high ministerial salaries, you must not be seen as a sour grape who is also after the same vineyard.
