Re: Netizens accuse NEA of grossly understating PSI readings. To Justify FAP Incompet
the best way to not cause panic is to be upfront. providing misleading info, such as the 24hrs PSI is more accurate than hourly reading, is not helping.
It is causing all sorts of speculations and conspiracy theories and panic buying of masks. Especially if our close neighbour has reported much higher readings and declaring a state of emergency, it makes the situation worst. How does that help?
I think people, myself included, would want to have access to a set of accurate info so that they can decide what they want to do.
Wrapping everyone up in cotton wool and sealing them in a glass bubble is not what life is all about.
Society is so concerned about risk nowadays that any deviation from the perceived normal is cause for a panic attack.
It's just bloody ridiculous.
