The electorate must understand the constitutional implications of the Non-Constituency Member of Parliament or NCMP in short.

1. The NCMP is not directly elected by the people but are in parliament at the behest of the ruling party. As such, they have no moral or legal mandate of the people to represent them in parliament.

The ruling party can easily use the above argument against the people should the former decide to steamroll parliamentary bills through. The NCMP scheme should be called out for what it really is - A SCAM. A CON JOB.

2. The ruling party can do away with the NCMP scheme anytime they so wish. There is no guarantee an NCMP will be able to serve out the full term, let alone one week in parliament.

The PAP is treating Ah Beng to be the fool he really is. Do not be hoodwinked by this scam.

But opp dont dare to showhand and say all of them will not accept NCMP seat:(

IMO, if they do, the pressure on the voters will be very different.

All the opposition need to do is bring out in the open what I have highlighted in RED.
Most voters have no idea what the NCMP scheme is truly all about.
