Chitchat Naive millenials think toxic companies care that people are leaving and will bother to "fix the culture" *LOL*

"Realistically, there are probably a bunch of people at the company who shouldn’t be here,” Zuckerberg said in a recording obtained by The Verge.
“Part of my hope by raising expectations and having more aggressive goals, and just kind of turning up the heat a little bit, is that I think some of you might decide that this place isn’t for you"

Keep an eye for this phrase the millennial/Gen Z snowflakes enjoy: 'safe space'.

I think I have seen 'safe space' on a poster at the NUS campus during one of my recent explorations there. And there is a 'gender neutral' toilet near the Central Library, see if you can spot it if you're in that area.
Wow…uou mean NUs is not that safe so it need to create safe space awareness??

I am in favour of clearing out dead wood because there is no free lunch as far as any boss is concerned. However, in many companies, the boss prefers to be surrounded by average supporters in his management team. It creates a "safe space" for him as there won't be outstanding leaders who are a threat to his position nor will he have deputies who will disagree with his direction for the company. Unfortunately, groupthink will be entrenched like the PAP, where nobody dares to disagree with the PM or SM.

If employees display any brilliance, their supervisors might fear being replaced by the very subordinates whose work appraisals they graded favourably. Many rising stars in a company receive a rude shock at their next performance review; instead of the expected glowing appraisal, their bosses criticise their decision-making and marginalise their contributions. Whether such talents resign in anger or are forced out, the organisation loses a vital contributor because of a paranoid boss trying to sabotage a subordinate perceived as a threat to his job.

Also many colleagues and coworkers are foreigners that can't wait to push locals out. Because useless managers and bosses are too dense, listening to whatever bullshit spew into their ears like sacred words. The reason why so many things are declining because incompetent people are at higher position guarded by their own idiots 'yes' men, they got no real talent to challenge or question their decisions.

If you see a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that is a post turtle. It didn't get up there by itself. It doesn't belong up there. It's out of its comfort zone. It doesn't know what to do while it's up there. It's stuck and unproductive. You just wonder what kind of dumbass put it there in the first place! A post turtle is in a position of power that he didn't achieve through his own efforts. Someone put him there. He lacks the necessary skills, knowledge or understanding to perform effectively. He is stuck, like a turtle on a post. The term is used to point out cronyism in leadership roles.
