WHILE he has stated repeatedly that next week's Hougang by-election is a local event and that he very much preferred to be his own man, People's Action Party (PAP) candidate Desmond Choo said he would readily welcome support from his party's senior leadership.
"They are always concerned about how we are faring on the ground, how's our morale, whether the guys are well taken care of. If they pop by for a visit (during the upcoming campaign), I wouldn't be surprised," said the 34-year-old unionist yesterday.

Mr Choo recalled how Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean had visited Hougang a number of times in the build-up to last year's general election to encourage the party's supporters and helpers there.

Mr Teo, the anchor minister for the neighbouring Pasir Ris-Punggol group representation constituency, also spoke at one of the PAP's rallies in Hougang.

And he think he can assured HG voters that HG will remained a SMC and not absorbed into a GRC, even if he is around!!

first, it was "ALWAYS BE HERE FOR YOU..."

now it's "PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME BEHIND..."

Hope the Hougang voters grow a spine and give Choo Choo a humiliating defeat.

Who does he think he is? He is but a little de(s)mon(d) in a party of evil doers!
