[h=2]My experience with foreign talent and foreign trash[/h]

Let me share with you my own company’s experience with FT.
We had a colleague from Europe, let’s just call him M. Now M is a real talent
– he was send by HQ to help us start the IT systems for the company and to cut a
long story short, he was able to do his stuff and also train us to do our stuff.
We all respect him and enjoyed working with him. It was a sad day for us when
they sent him back after couple of years…but he was promoted, in our mind,
deservingly so. Good Luck M, all the best to you and really sorry to see you
go.
M’s replacement (W) from a nearby country was a disaster – very clearly
incompetent and lack of confidence in whatever he does. Our training and
coaching under M really helps us to do our work independently… but it also
enabled us to see that W was ignorant and incompetent. He does not like it – he
responded by replacing us slowly with people from his own home-town… sad to say,
they were even worse than him. Long story short, the work which took 2 of us to
do previously, they now have 5 persons handling it (no kidding!! and yes, you
guessed it – we are out of the company by now.)
So, my point is we need to be able to ID the “M” vs. the “W” – one is to be
valued, the other is just a fake. One builds, the other destroys!!! Wake up
before it is too late!!!!
