MSM's up-play of Reuben Wang's expletive word against DPM Teo magnifies DPM Teo's incompetence
It is very sad that the MSM has chosen to make a big hooha out of the Reuben Wang case. No doubt, it is crude and even rude for Reuben to have used such a word in a public blog against the DPM. However, his grievance that the DPM did not address the questions posed is valid.
What then happened was that there's a shift from the issue that the questions were never answered to the issue of irresponsible blogging. That then tail-spinned into another irrelevant issue of the 'lies' that the New Media spreads.
Teo Chee Hean may claim to getting the JC students to think. But heck, they're only 17 and 18 year olds. You expect them to think like season politicians and ministers? You can do it to your PAP wannabe candidates, but definitely not to schoolkids.
