Mother dies after being electrocuted while holding her charging phone in the bath, inquest hears

If only she had used an android phone instead of an iPhone, she would still be alive.

Current 0.1 or 0.2 A can kill. The voltage's job is to drive the current ( in ampere A) into your body. The resistance of your body drops when it is wet.

But not likely since it takes the path of least resistance. If the connector or cord was faulty, and if the adaptor didn't automatically shutdown on an overcurrent event, then the path of least resistance is across the connector pins or break in the cord. It would not want to take a detour through a body since even broken skin has a resistance of 500 ohms (100 to 500 ohms for internal body resistance).

Wet body reduces resistance by factor of 10 leh

Husband murdered wife and blamed iPhone

Internal body resistance (wet) is 100 to 500 ohms. Unless you stick two probes into the body across the heart so that there is no chance of the current favoring the bath water instead, nothing fatal will happen. Froggy is right, something else (e.g. husband) happened.

In Nov 2024, an 18-year-old boy in Penang was found electrocuted while charging his phone from a power outlet on an express bus. Authorities found the charging cable melted and burn marks on the victim's fingers.

Definitely possible if the charger not designed properly. For example, insufficient isolation between low and high voltage sections of the circuit, use of low quality components, etc. make sure you buy UL listed devices, not shit stuff designed/made/copied by dumb/unscrupulous tiongkok companies, etc.
