STOMPer FAILblogger suspects that this column of smoke is coming from Jurong Island where many oil refineries are located.

He said in an email:

"I saw this smoke cloud at about 5pm yesterday (Jun 27).

"There was a lot of smoke.

"I'm not too sure if the smoke was coming from Jurong Island, as I live in Jurong West.

"This is the first time I've seen this."
