Overcrowding strains existing infrastructure in S'pore. The govt is responsible because it opened our doors to more than 2 million foreigners to compete for a limited supply of private homes and cars. A large population leads to a surplus of labour for white collar jobs, suppressing wage growth and thus limiting demand-pull inflation. Which other govt fucks its own people like ours?
