Recently i visit someone at a military camp and look see n kaypoh here n there bringing back memories during my NS days.
the one thing that caught my eye was that i notice were quite a number of female officers in that camp and i see young botak soldiers stand straight and salute them shouting good morning madam...i quickly walked near these female officers to get a closer look at them smile and say hi to them and they politely smile back at me..wow one of them has a physique like a incredible hulk and another reminds me of ann kok...

it looks like due to the falling birthrate of males in spore, saf is recruiting more female soldiers and grooming them to be future platoon commanders or officer in charge..what the heck..during my NS in 82 the only female soldiers in my camp is my big fat chief clerk,i no need to salute her,in fact she sayang me alot...times has changed indeed in spore where women are suppose to stay in the kicthen,

but now i see more and more women are calling the shots now..sigh...

I think the the fault lies with pinky,he set the trend by letting ho ching to call the shots..wsy???

This is the prelude to the conscription of female Singaporeans in 15 years time.
