MOH goes to Taiwan to recruit cheaper fresh graduates

In the mid 80s Taiwanese gals came here to sing in nightclubs. Very the 'seh bin' if you are seen with a Taiwan poh.

Very true good brother, RUN can't put it better in words.

Right, Taiwan is the place to die, not SG. Truly paradise to live in TW, the food, the atmosphere, the festivals, the night market, the KTVs, the barber shops, the night clubs, the crazy Taiwanese comedians, the TV shows, etc. Now waiting for a chance to leave SG for good to live in TW.

If you compare those rubbish entertainers from Mediacock and those in Taiwan, you will understand what is Heaven and what is Earth in terms of artistic talent.

Dont know about taiwanese entertainers but to me mandarin n hokkein songs r crap..and those Taiwanese that sing Cantonese songs never do it right. Though i admit there is one taiwan singer that did ok for 1 canto song..cant remember her name...sirname ends with Ongg...uh Judy Ongg? But 1 think for sure taiwanese serials are absolute rubbish compared to HK ones...watch 1 taiwan drama in cantonese..the special effects etc are shit compares to HK ones...

Taiwanese are just more warm.

Good brother, the Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese government made it a point to groom 70-90% of each GEN-Y cohort into uni grads.

Policymakers tell us that such massive % of uni grads will do no good for our society and drives up costs. Today, Korea, Taiwan and Japan continued to be industrial powerhouses with a higher level of innovation, research and entrepreneurship, while Singapore supported her growth with casinos and influx of the rich.

Hmm.....both policies got its long and short....go to ktv in Taiwan , more likely than not, the hostess that strips herself and grind your crouch are Uni grad with worthless degrees....actually quite a waste of time for them to spend in Uni

I found the video...a hokkein singing a canto song and its passable,,,
