Frankly, of all the BJJ black belts out there in the MMA world, Adriano Moraes' BJJ application is the most effective and exciting. All the other MMA fighters who are also BJJ black belts don't even use half the BJJ techniques that Adriano employs, with the notable exception of Shinya Aoki, whose (fortuitiously for viewers' satisfaction) BJJ style is significantly distinct from Adriano's.

Shinya's notorious double submissions (eg. simultaneous triangle choke + armbar, even if you miraculously survive one, the other will kill you confirm + chop, and the combined simultaneous pain of both will send even superman tapping out at superspeed; see videos below) are crazy insane.

Adriano and Shinya are only 2 of dozens of BJJ black belts out there in the MMA world, but they are quite certainly 2 of the very best grapplers in the world (excluding the dozens of Gracie family members, only some of whom also participate in MMA).

Shinya Aoki is one of my favourite fighters. I remembered one fight where he broke his opponent's arm and then gave him the finger.

Looking forward to UFC 251. Going to be good with 3 title fights.
