I have watched a few episodes of the Polo Boys II, starring Adrian Pang and Michelle Chia, and a few other young punks.

On the whole, they speak quite well. I couldn't detect any Singlish, and if most Singaporeans speak like Adrian Pang, Singapore should be okay.

Singaporeans need not have to speak Singlish. Singaporeans need not have to speak like Americans or Pierce Brosnan.

Mediacorp should produce more of such programs where actors and actresses speak good English.

Adrian Pang was educated in England, like LKY.

If he speaks like Gurmit Singh pretending to be Chinese speaking Singlish, then I worry.

you can't compare Adrian Pang to typical mediacorp artistes.
This man was UK tertiary educated, worked years in British theater and television before returning to Singapore.

He of course better quality. ( acting and english )

what singaporeans need is to have a proper pronunciation of the words....and without the leh lah lor and etc....shld be fine

adrian pang is good....theres a singaporean guy call chin who acted as an accountant in the batman movie....he speaks very good british standards of english

adrain pang, chin, ken jeyarathnam and etc......they speak well and should be the standard of all singaporean english shows...

that chin han guy has same background as adrian pang - british educated and professional theater actors.
most of sg tv artistes need to improve their command of english language but it's not possible to reach the above two standard.
maybe u can give an example of a local artiste, not educated abroad nor theater trained whom you think speak good english.

Adrian Pang has a law degree, of course his English has to be of some level of standard

the old man tat acted in growing up....lim kay tong?? Also nt too bad....
Even sebastian, broadway beng n hossan leong r decent too..singlish r exag.... But m sure they speak a mean q eng...
