hehehehe, thats just how its like for most sporns. if the problem doesnt exist at their doorsteps, they pretend nothing happened, but when the thrills n spills come knocking on their doors, they make a big hoo-haa. let's nt 4get the residents of geylang greeted with foreign workers by day & street walking ladies by night.

Geylang is becoming a foreign worker zone except for the Geylang Serai and the lor3.
The thrill part happens as the majority of singaporeans are not objecting. The people in Serangoon are objecting, but believe me, the rest of singapore are not.

The value of property there will sure nose-dive. The old sense of theneighbourhood will be gone with this influx.
