How often do food outlets undergo inspection?

I WAS at a fast-food outlet in International Plaza last Tuesday when I spotted a cockroach running
across the counter.

The woman behind the counter quickly killed it with her bare hands.

I have seen many cockroaches at the corner seating area near the counters in the past few months.

How often do food outlets undergo inspection? I am concerned about the hygiene and quality of
my food as it seems the roach problem has not been addressed.
