Just went to another customer's place before CNY holidays, came to know that they divorced to buy another HDB, after owning a private.

In this way, they need not pay any ABSD for second property, or can even own a HDB after buying private.

not the first that I came across, in fact a few in recent years. money is more important than marriage.

Let's say if they own private and HDB separately and marry again 5 years later, I don't think HDB will ask them to sell right?
