A MAN, said to be high on drugs, raped his 69-year-old mother-in-law at her house in Sibu, reported Sin Chew Daily.
During the 4pm incident on Friday, the 42-year-old, who was also the woman's neighbour, sneaked into her house and found her sitting alone in the living room, clad only in a sarong.
He pushed the woman to the ground before forcing himself on her.
The woman later told her daughter, who is married to the suspect, about the rape before they went to the police station to lodge a report.
However, upon questioning by the police, the man denied having committed the crime.
He has since been placed under remand for a week.
