Man charged with 12-year-old murder
SINGAPORE: A 59-year-old man has been charged with murder that allegedly took place 12 years ago.
Eng Bak Siong is accused of causing the death of 32-year-old Peng Teck Hoe, together with five other men.
The alleged incident took place on February 21, 2001, at about 4pm at a market at Lorong 1 Toa Payoh.
If convicted of murder, Eng faces the death penalty. - CNA/ac
