Man arrested for theft of forklift batteries in Geylang Bahru

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 64-year-old man after forklift batteries were reported stolen in Geylang Bahru area.
It is believed that the crimes happened between December 26 and 27.
The suspect was arrested in the area on December 28.
Initial investigations indicate that the suspect could be involved in other similar theft cases.
A man will be charged in court on Saturday. If convicted, he could be jailed up to three years and fined.
