Man arrested for brawl that left three people injured

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 22-year-old man suspected of hurting three people in a fight near Woodlands Point.
On October 4, at about 11.54pm, the police received a call from the public that three victims were injured in a brawl stemming from a dispute with two male suspects in a back alley near Woodlands Point.
Upon arrival, police found the three victims lying semi-conscious and injured in the alley.
The victims were sent to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital.
One of them suffered from serious injuries.
Officers managed to trace and arrest a 22-year-old male suspect near the incident’s location on October 8, this year at 11.05pm.
Police then tried to track down his accomplice as well.
The suspect will be charged on Thursday for causing grievous hurt.
If convicted, he can be jailed up to seven years and caned. - CNA/nd
