MIC - 3
Gerakan -2
PBB - 14
Sarawak SUPP - 6
Sarawak SPDP - 4
Sarawak PRS - 6

Pakatan Rakyat - 82 of which:
PKR - 31

NO details but sounds like DAP improved whereas PKR declined.
I believe in terms of Parliament seats PR improved by a few seats but state seats wise it is a setback for losing Perak and Kedah.

True, but they indeed won Perak in GE 2008

Actually very difficult to beat BN. Especially when you have a Islamic party like PAS on your side. They wish to impose Islamic law.
Last election PAS controlled two state, kelantan and Kedah. The chief minster are both kampung people. Dunno about economics and sound policies. Only know how to go to kenduri. For people of kelantan, this is ok. But Kedah is now a suburb of Penang and unsound policies will not be tolerated. So this time round, they kick PAS out.
The idiot in PAS will think that Malay voters kick them out due to them being allies of DAP. So they will now become even more hard line. And more Islamic. So you can forget about PAS as they will eventually kill themselves by shooting at their own foot.

Is not the point, majority of Malaysian voted for DAP and obviously they have no issue with DAP's ally PAS.

It is PAS and PKR that is unable to garner more Malay votes.

They need to do some party shape up.

If the East Malaysian parties jump over to Pakatan, BN becomes opposition. This may just happen.

Also, look for Malaysian Spring. There were so many fraudulent acts caught that a people uprising against the legitimacy of the result can't be ruled out.

Mahathir nearly got a heart attack campaigning for his son. He probably spent half his fortune to win the votes for him.

Agree.. This GE is a sham.. the whole process is a total disgrace and shows the ugly side of UMNO in their desperate bid to retain power..

Why invite those chaps from ASEAN? Why not from the EU?

Fuck the UMNO scums..

Anwar does not want to concede defeat because they have concrete evidence of widespread electoral fraud.

If the ruling party mishandles this tricky situation it may lead to a Malaysian spring.

I don't think there will be any comparison to the Arab spring, but certainly the nation will be deeply divided. Expect money politics and cronyism to erupt even more as the BN desperately tries to buy back support and persuade opposition members to defect. Racial and communal tensions rifts may widen.
