TAIPEI: Lai Ching-te, the presidential candidate for Taiwan’s ruling party, won an election today that China had framed as a choice between war and peace.

The candidate for Taiwan’s main opposition party the Kuomintang (KMT), Hou Yu-ih, conceded defeat in the election.
 
Taiwan is already a sovereign state, only the truly low IQ ones believe the gaslighting by the Chicoms. :rolleyes:

Anyway China is in deep shit, eventually the west will know who is the real shit stirrer behind Hamas and the Houthis. Maybe they already know, just waiting for the right time to retaliate. As far as I'm concerned, a no-fly zone should be imposed on China immediately. :cool:
 
Hung Parliament

Taiwan will have a hung parliament for the first time since 2008, based on latest available numbers on the legislative elections held concurrently with the presidential polls on Saturday (Jan 13).

In the 113-seat legislative assembly, the ruling DPP and the opposition KMT have fallen short in securing the 57-seat majority, each getting only 36 district seats and up to 13 legislators-at-large. With no single party getting a parliamentary majority, the onus will then be on the TPP on who it would work with, say analysts.

You have to go to north to Shanghai or south to Guangzhou (near Hong Kong) to have a higher chance of hearing proper English.

I will welcome pla to fly their bomber over to Taiwan to send the people of Taiwan home to meet their maker.

I like to see how power china's military is. I see them always bullying pinoy navy , never see them in real action.
