The lyrics of the national anthem are as follows:

Arise, ye who refuse to be slaves;
With our very flesh and blood Let us build our new Great Wall!
The Peoples of China are in the most critical time, Everybody must roar his defiance.
Arise! Arise! Arise! Millions of hearts with one mind,
Brave the enemy's gunfire, March on! Brave the enemy's gunfire,
March on! March on! March on, on!

That's why China has no friends except North Korea and African Nations.

Even their anthem reeks of violence and fanaticism!

Arise! Arise! Arise!
Those who wished not be enslaved by others
By our hands and our blood
Will line up like the new great wall of China!
Comrades of our motherland
When our very survivor is threaten
We will shout in one chorus
ARISE! ARISE! ARISE!
Risking dangers, we will charge at the direction of enemies' batteries
fear no volley of artillery fires, we will charge!
Advance! Advance! Advance!

China is largely a self-sustaining country, and it does not need many friends in the world. Those other deviant countries should be glad they weren't targeted for Chinese rule and control.

Do not mix up nationalism on their part for fanaticism. Please use your words properly.

Also, they believe in themselves and their joint efforts as sincere and determined mortals to change and better the country. Their anthem is much better than Japan's (that give hypocritical homage to their but stage-managed and politically-controlled and repressed Emperor since the 9th Century) and England's (that still persist in their primitive ways of life demanding a King and Queen as their overlords, ceremonial or otherwise).

As Mao Zedong said, the Chinese people have stood up!! They don't need to gather confidence from Kings, Emperors, Queens and even God to build themselves and their country. They believe in self-reliance.

Sure, but remember that socialism is good for the Chinese people and without the CCP in practice of this social system there would be no new China either.

As much as I hate the PRCs, u do have a point in saying that.

What's the difference of chanting Long Live Chairman Mao and chanting Long Live The King? What self-reliance? Only self-denial and self-delusion. Even in Singapore's the same, people are worrying what if Lee Kuan Yew dies? Deng Xiaoping was the true one who tried to get rid of all these personality spiritual reliance repository culture. Mao was an Emperor. Not calling himself an Emperor doesn't mean he wasn't one. A rose by any other name is still a rose. Insist that a deer is a horse and get people to agree by sheer force power and threat, it's still a horse.

Wait! Jah Rastafar I nuclear missile coming...I go bomb shelter first!

There was a book on the biggest human butcher of the 20th century.
in order.
1) Mao Zedong
2) Stalin
3) Hitler
4) Chiang Kai Shek
5) Tito ( Yugoslavia )

2 Chinese in Top 5.

PRC Bank Exec

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Happen to be at waterloo street doing some bank transaction yesterday lunch time, was told by the counter staff to wait for 15min to half an hour. Went out for a quick puff and saw this gal leaning on my car talking on her phone. The moment she lift up her head, I was WOW..... Not bad leh. She smile back and say sorrie, I told her to carry on leaning in a joking way. We chatted awhile and got to know that she just arrived 3 weeks ago working at the Bank which I just went. So I try to date her out for a drink and she say OK (My Lucky Day).

Pick her up after her work at 5.30pm and we went downtown for dinner. I was trying my best to test water (NO LUCK). We headed to Boat Quay for a drink after dinner and I told myself this time DIE DIE also must ask. All of a sudden, she burst into tear (ALCOHOL EFFECT), saying she misses her parent. I try to console her and told her not to think so much. Time passes and we are now more open up, I pop up the question to her:

Me: Why dun you try to earn more money while you are in SG?
She: How to?
Me: Do part time lor.
She: What is part time?
Me: Must I go into detail, then you can understand.
(Slient for a while) and (Burst into laughter)
She: How much am I worth in your eye.
Me: Hard to say, depends on how good are you.
She: How much do you want to give me, if I say OK to you.
Me: 150 lor (Man Ego).
She: If I am good to you, you give me more is it?
Me: Let see how good are you.
Me: How???
She: Can try. Is it now?
Me: Now lor. If not when?
She: Where?
Me: I bring you there.
