As election draws close and talks of people tired of PAP is unprecendented, things are beginning to fall apart for its opponents.

RP's chief is revealing himself to be more mad than what people describe of CSJ and some pillars are falling flat within the party. And the madness will spill out at the rallies.

Things in SDA got messy after the Chiams-DL spat and may get messier in days to come. There is a way DL can get back and unlike the Chiams realise. Ousting of a fella with strong support in the form of PKMS and the RP's involvement is going to crash things.

WP just gets quieter and quieter and people have forgotton them. Now they say "WP, who? (or what)"... then some recall, "oh yes, 2006 that party". The voice of the only party with 2 MPs in Parliament comes out like 1/2 a person.

SDP and its youthling just sent out a couple of letters that smashes their already hard-to-maintain disposition by indirectly telling LKY that he deserved the loss of his wife. I don't have to describe the rest of the antics. Like it or not, MSM is doing them a favour by censoring them.

NSP is not making headway and absorbs ego defectors like a basket of goods. They are going to be hit by low-staying power in time to come.

Furthermore, the only 2 pro-opposition sites that are well-read crashed the scene together along with the rest.

TOC had such an en masse resignation over the 2 years that it can no longer sustain its updates on a regular basis and has no focus, no direction and looks so neutered and stops or hardly covers the opp anymore.

TR became a joke by going back to the Wayang Party days of whacking WP instead of PAP, is now becoming a joke after the exposure. At least they used to be able to do bold things under the cloak of anonymity which they can no longer do - all because they were not smart enough not to threaten SPH.

When the PAP is doing its worst governing performance ever since coming to power in 1959, they can now sit back and relax. The only hope is any potential infighting within the PAP after LKY's death given his wife is already passed.

Good summary and good assessment.

Pardon my ignorance. Why do you say that about RP's chief? Can you show some examples to enlighten me?

Sorry I cut him as a FB friend some time ago because I neither know him personally nor find him a FB friend worth having, esp after he started to leave nonsense on my FB. So I don't have much to show. However, I did find a remark on RP FB (which you rarely get outbursts from because it is mainly for announcements - even then I found this):

"Put your arguments on the discussion page please so you don't ruin our birthday message."

Anyone commenting on a FB post which he put up is ruining the post. Looks like he couldn't have worded it better.

I still recall him saying to TODAY that Chiam should be out after not expanding his party for 25 years (which ends up refers to alot of people including his dad).

I see. It is my personal opinion that you should really get to know a person first before passing off such judgemental opinions on their character/personality. Otherwise one may appear to be shallow in their perspective (no pun intended).

From the above, it is plain to me that the reasonings themselves are trifle and we should be more circumspect in understanding the context in which they were put, instead of not juxtaposing it against it's superficial lexicon.

I have made such mistakes before and the embarrassment that ensues can be awkward, not to mention how it may affect your credibility as a person subsequently. Do consider avoiding this path.

:)

I hate to tell you but he is right. KJ tends to be rude and arrogant. This is something that the father had as well. He used to yell at the cashiers and demand to see the supervisor at Cold Storage Centrepoint. He did it in perfect upperclass English despite being raised in this part of the world. People forgave him as he was doing battle with the tyrant.

KJ has little patience with the common man on the ground and I think we understand that. We are prepared to cut him alot of slack because the mission is important. But he needs to know that he has a problem.

From your comments, you either have not met the man in a certain conditions or have glossed over it.

At the end of day, maybe a bit of arrogance is what is called for in the fight for a plural democratic society.

It's a classic case of rich man's and poor man's mentality.

The rich man thinks big and does big.

The poor man thinks small and fights for scraps, hence the petty bickering.

A case in point - Fighting over the leadership of a political party with only 1 seat in parliament? Spare me please.

Having said that, some are waiting for the opportune time to act, hence their quietness. Doing nothing is also a strategy.

Conclusion: PAP wins big again in 2012.
no point voting for oppositions.

:( :o :(

My post I had a sting for each and every prominent player in the political circle. I didn't mention USD, Socialist Front or New Asia Republic because there's no need to - they're so puny at this stage they as good as non-significant.

As to why you asked me to understand only KJ but no mention of the rest, I won't speculate.

At the end of the day, any PAP against KJ or any RP, for that matter ANY opposition, my vote is for KJ, RP or ANY opposition. PAP can send back Tan Cheng Bock or revive Goh Keng Swee and it won't make a difference to my choice, so you don't have to worry about it. I think it will be trifle for me to vote PAP because of KJ's lousiness because all this while, I never said the PAP was any better. However, you also can't stop me from telling the truth in a small forum like this - not that this is a national news forum or something.

A pity there isn't an anarcho-capitalist party in Singapore...

Like for opposition wards .

We always encourage " them " to marry into Chinese families .
