Lost history and bookmarks

My apple computers' histories and bookmarks are disabled. One of the applications in the Firefox had prevented it. What shall I do? I find it difficult to surf. Shall I send it to a shop. Please help? Thanks.

Under Edit->Preference->privacy of Firefox there should be something that you can change to allow you to remember history and bookmark. It is a good thing also not to remember anything on a computer. Keep bookmarks on some servers that you can get access from any computer online. Any simple html file can be your bookmark, you just open it and click.
