Apart from the $10 price tag, the little bits of minced mutton, onions and garlic was pathetic. The ingredients were encased in a modest sized murtabak dough. I paid $6 -$8 for a similar sized mutton murtabak at Bukit Batok, Ghim Moh and Holland Drive.

Today, I got the shock of my life when I was charged $10 for a small Mutton Murtabak at the coffeeshop next to the Bukit Panjang CC. I won't be going back there again.

If with High housing debt, high education cost to bring up kids, high transportation due public buses paying $3k/bus captain with $20,000 bonus and is a profit making public transport, high cost of mutabak $7-$8 and food prices, how can a lowly manufacturing worker paid between $1k to $2k (trying to keep manufactured product prices low for users) contines to go on?
