Lionel Richie at Petronas F1 Grand Prix
Lionel Richie in action in KL four years ago
You've read it right. Lionel Richie, the man who sings about dancing on the ceiling is heading our way again. The evergreen American pop star is scheduled to take on the stage at the Malaysian Petronas F1 Grand Prix in Sepang, happening from April 2-4.
Confirming the good news, a source inside the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) tells The Daily Chilli that ticketing details will be announced soon.
Be prepared to be blown away by Richie's power-packed vocals on classic hits like Hello, Three Times a Lady, Still, Endless Love (a duet with Diana Ross), Truly, Say You, Say Me and All Night Long (All Night).
Richie last performed to a full-house audience at the Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix Spring Gala in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in 2006.
Touted as one of the most successful male solo artistes of the 80s, the 61-year-old singer/songwriter is formerly a member of hugely popular pop band, the Commodores.
