Dot keeps being suckered now and then.
This morning felt like having coffeeshop coffee so decided to give it one last try (not for the first time).
Asked for kopi kah tai (add more milk). The coffee that came might as well be kopi siu tai (less milk). Can't tell the difference between normal and kah tai.
Coffee was 90c. Gave the shop assistant $1 and expected 10c change which did not come. You bet dot is not going back to Fragrance Curry Rice coffee shop.
This is not the first time. One mama coffeshop assistant at Adam Road also kept dot's change a while ago. And when dot asked him for the change, he pretended he forgot.
How many of you have the same experience: the coffeeshop 'eat' your 10c change?

so far, @ my downstairs kopitiam, oni kena once ... ze woman assistant pretend 2 dig 4 coins 4 a loonger time, den put dem on ze table n quikly wok away ... later, wen me count, it was -10¢ ...... How many of you have the same experience: the coffeeshop 'eat' your 10c change?
