Illegal loan shark activities are still rampant despite recent convictions and arrests of loan sharks. A STOMPer sent in these pictures of a flat vandalised by loan sharks for debts owed by a neighbour downstairs.

According to the message scrawled on a wall, the debtor appears to be living in flat #15-09 on the 15th floor. However, paint was splashed on the door of the unit one level above instead.
The STOMPer thus wonders if the loan sharks who did this made a mistake or got the wrong house on purpose.
Perhaps the loan sharks wanted the people on the 16th floor to pressure their neighbours downstairs to call the loan sharks, he suggests.
The STOMPer says in an email:
"It happened on April 30, 2010.
"The loan shark wrote '#15-09' on the 16th storey and splashed paint onto the door of unit #16-09 and the floor and walls outside it.
"I think the loan shark purposely splashed paint on unit #16-09 to get its owners to tell residents of #15-09 to call the loan shark.
"Hence, the contact number of the person in unit #15-09 was written on the wall".
