yes many people would not have committed CBT if not for gambling debts. Put a casino at door step is really bad idea for people who like to gamble like us chinese. Many times self control is over rated and before one realised it, already deep in debt.

Oh, and I would like to add another point regarding the development of the Chinese Garden area.

Get ready to kiss the idyllic and serene environment goodbye. They'll probably make it into another mini theme park, monetize it by charging an entrance fee to some spots. Another mall perhaps? Yeah, more outlets for pawnshops and George Quek's eateries.

Jurong used to have a theme park Tang dynasty. I remember visiting it in 1993. Nice place but too bad folded up. Last time i went Chinese Garden once during the lantern festival showing some huge lanterns around 2000. Do they still have this yearly event?

I think Spore has degenerated so much under LHL leadership. To think our streets used to be so clean with no litter. I wish we can reset to the 90s to a clean and orderly Spore.

The paps believe in flooding sinkie land with foreigners to grow the GDP. If paps do not change their policies to ensure sinkies remain the masters of their own country, the foreigners in large numbers will exploit the sinkies and manipulate the economy for their own benefits.
