Russia has invaded Ukraine to protect the no of Russians or even Russian speaking Ukraine from the new goverment. This sets a dangerous precedents like when Hitler invaded Austria to protect Germans living there. Same for Singapore, if too many Ah Tiongs come over and their interests are threatened, PRC can send troops over to 'protect' them. So, PAP, don't play! play!!

They are just protecting the military ware and they do not want the West at their doorstep.

China treats their overseas Chinese very differently. A child in the US, even if born to two PRC-passport-wielding Chinese nationals, is not even entitled to Chinese citizenship.

Definitely not. In such a huge country, it is not right for one tongue to represent 1.3 billion (I would say that the majority wouldn't even know who this dude is), however, it is an official source whilst the masses are not heard.
