Russia has invaded Ukraine to protect the no of Russians or even Russian speaking Ukraine from the new goverment. This sets a dangerous precedents like when Hitler invaded Austria to protect Germans living there. True bro.. now the foreigners are 30% of the population. so roughly abt 2mil... our army not enuf and cannot protect singaporeans if these foreigners go on the rampage.. Little india riot show all foreigners that singapore security forces cannot protect singapore and will embolden them to act more aggressively... The COI openly stated our weaknesses and these will allow the foriegners not to be afraid of us anymore... No wonder in Geylang I cannot see any police at all... there got Viet, PRC , Bangla enclaves everywhere and no singaporeans at all!!

Majority of those foreigners seems to have the same mentality everywhere they go.
After settling down for a while, they thought the country share the same culture and belongs to them.
They thought they can do what they want and brush the law aside, act tough and talk big.
They no longer have any respect for the local law and gahbrament.

From my observations, no, not entirely. Singaporean Chinese might have Chinese ancestry, but not Chinese blood. In their blood stream flows belachan, sambal, or chinchalok. And they look down on Ah Tiongs from China.

During the 2nd World War, our parents and grand-parents buy China War bonds to fund the war against the Japs. Besides, the Japs were so harsh to the Chinese here because they see the Chinese here as part of Greater China.

But as now, the Chinese here is not thinking they're from China, so it is ridiculous for China to say it is protecting its Chinese people, but you never know, with the PRC aplenty here, this may happen.
Finally, if China wants to take over Singapore for that reason and can justify it internationally, my guess is that nobody can stop China.

the problem is we always call ourselves singaporean chinese, singaporean malay or indian\tamil and even eurasian as if there is some class attached to it... end up called coolies, neh, m&ds and whatever. So why not just one identity - SINGAPOREAN that's all nothing less nothing more whether yellow, fair, brown, dark skin it doesn't matter... if you're chinese use english name like Brandon Tan and leave out the Ah Kow... it start with the parents, so start naming your future children as such
