I may misread, but TCH is also DPM. Anyway, a good politician a general does not make and vice versa. There is no passion nor EQ and what we have currently are paper generals who think they are just doing their job as a topnotch civil servant.
In the old days the PAP staged these wayangs call "gotong royong" where they were seen to help "lesser mortals" like sweeping the roads, etc.
Nowadays with multi-million $ salaries, millions of foreigners, etc I guess these wayangs are not going to fool anyone
