Like how? We still are getting 2.5 percent return on CPF when the government earns 7 percent. HDB flat is still high despite the grants. You are naive to believe that the PAP is scared to action by WP when they themselves cannot even manage a town council well.

PAP has "reinvented" themselves since 2011 GE. They took the lessons of 2011 GE seriously. Ministers and MPs who cannot perform are either side-lined or asked to step down. I think that they have realized that they need to uphold to a high standard of accountability to the people of Singapore who voted for them.

Thanks , but I rather stick to the tried and proven. The system has worked well... if you look around us, you 'll understand how fortunate we are to have a good, honest and hardworking government.

If the problems in the north were to befall on us, we 'll be doomed.

We'll see investors and business people fleeing the country. At times, we may not understand that we are highly dependent on commerce and trade for our economy. If the government cannot sustain and stabilize the economy and thus ensuring good livelihood to its citizens, what else is there to talk ?
