WanBao reported that Ah Baey will bring up this topic to next parliament session and encourage the gov to give the scholarship to Singaporeans 1st. Dunno if its true lah....

Now..what if the PRC scholar has said the following and the likely reactions thereafter..

1) that there are more dogs than human in this company, Slumberger.
( He would be shown the door the next instance)

2. that there are more dogs than human in Parliament.
( He will be sued or be on the next plane back to China)

3. that there are more dogs than human in this country.
( MP Baey ask the country to do self-reflection on this statement )
Nor wonder, we all get very angry.

Just wondering if the 2 situations are similar. JL accepted the name calling because he yearned to be in US. That undergrad was paid to be here i.e. he may have no desire to be here (if not for the scholarship) which is why he blatantly made those remarks.

The issue that upset many is whether should we entice such character with scholarship (public fund) to come and call us names so that we can learn to be confident and quietly proud of ourselves?

Baey did not apologize to Singaporeans for what he had said is wrong and he did not condemn what the PRC scholarship holder had said, instead Baey went to ridiculous lengths to justify what he said previously. Fark You Baey, you are not fit to be a Singaporean. You are indeed a useless and despicable dog just like what the PRC said.

Baey is a typical example of the quality of PAP MPs that come through the GRC back door, riding the coat tails of others.

HE ought to get the facts correct. A visitor is calling the host names. In Jeremy's case, its the host calling the visitor names.
