It is my opinion that McDonalds SG turned to shit after it was 'acquired' by this:

Back in the day, McDonalds employees took pride in their work. You could easily see this in the fries: not overly salted, not overly fried, no chao da fries.

The gold standard was the McDonalds at the (now demolished) King Albert Park.
